Specialist Business Systems Analyst (33888)
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Specialist Business Systems Analyst for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position.

Role Summary

The UX/UI Business Systems Specialist will be a key member of the program team working towards the digitalization of the design controls and technology transfer business processes for combination products at our client. As a part of this cross-functional team within our client, you would assist with the deployment of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools that will help digitalize combination product development and commercialization. This is one of a network of digital teams of our client focused on implementing state of the art digital capabilities transforming the business by improving efficiency and speed, while reducing the cost of developing, manufacturing, and distributing combination products to our stakeholders and patients.
The UX/UI Specialist will work within a cross-functional organization to ensure successful and efficient onboarding and adoption of PLM capabilities for various business groups of our client. The successful candidate will work with user groups to thoroughly research and document user interaction and workflows on the PLM Platform and support as a UX/UI SME the different Product teams working on the various PLM modules in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The candidate will work with the vendor to identify and drive UX/UI enhancements to ensure a consistent and reliable user experience for all users of our client irrespective of the module or capability being used. Additionally, the candidate will lead user research, onboarding and training efforts, and continuous improvement by supporting business leads with successful adoption of the capabilities within their groups.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Research and document user interaction and workflows for users of our client within the PLM Platform across the various capabilities implemented at our client.
  • Provide UX/UI expertise for the different product teams to ensure consistent UX/UI across the various capabilities implemented for users of our client.
  • Identify improvements required to UX/UI and drive engagement with software vendor to obtain enhancements.
  • Standardize and drive consistent UX/UI Research & User Testing processes across the different product teams.
  • Ensure adoption of User-centered Backlog development across the product teams.
  • Escalate issues/requests to PLM Product Management, as necessary.
  • Support planning, development and delivery of appropriate training content to relevant user groups.
Required Qualifications and skills.
  • Master’s degree and 2 years relevant work experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Degree in Industrial Design, Engineering or related field.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - ability to distil, craft and present key messages relative to diverse audience requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive UX/UI improvements within Enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated capability to influence and drive change with impacted stakeholders.
  • Experience driving transformation, user onboarding and organizational change management in a global organization is a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity with ability to learn new concepts/frameworks and technology rapidly as needs arise and apply into improvements in UX/UI and quality-of-life for users.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to take initiative and deliver consistently in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong problem solving, trouble shooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile Software development processes is a plus.
