IS Program Management Office Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Portfolio Services, a key function within the Office of the CIO, facilitates ELIP IS strategy and strengthens organizational maturity by establishing consistent standards, processes, and tools, ensuring effective governance, increasing IS value to the business. The Portfolio Services Process Specialist collaborates with the Portfolio Services team to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality across the ELIP IS organization. This role involves developing, managing, and refining processes, policies, tools, cadences, governance, and documentation for ELIP IS functions. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining relevant materials, delivering training, conducting audits, and proactively contributing to continuous improvement within Portfolio Services. This role reports to the Portfolio Services Manager. Grade 13 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Documentation Management: Prepares and maintains comprehensive documentation for ELIP IS processes, tools, cadence, and governance. Ensures all materials are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible based on access needs • Training and Support: Provides training on ELIP IS processes and tools. Supports Portfolio Services in managing cadence and governance, and participates in implementing and updating processes, tools, and governance structures • Auditing and Validation: Audits and validates written materials for completeness, accuracy, and simplicity. Conducts informal audits to assess compliance and proposes corrective actions based on identified risks • Reporting and Analysis: Prepares reports and dashboards to monitor and control services. Implements measurement and reporting mechanisms to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drives improvements in reporting efficiency through optimization, standardization, and automation • Continuous Improvement: Proactively contributes to the enhancement of documentation, processes, tools, and cadence. Engages with stakeholders to resolve issues, close gaps, and implement improvement initiatives • Compliance and Collaboration: Ensures adherence to corporate ABB IS policies, EL level security, and compliance mandates. Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and peers to ensure clear and accurate information is presented and processes are consistently followed • Record Keeping: Manages storage of relevant materials based on access needs, including ELIP IS access, Portfolio Services records, and cadence and governance documents. • Prepares and maintains process, tool, cadence and governance documentation for common ELIP IS functions

Qualifications for the role
- University degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: able to listen, articulate clearly, & collaborate
- Analytical Skills: able to dissect complex information, identify issues/actions, & apply logical reasoning to assignments
- Process Experience: definition, improvement & optimization
- Initiative-taker. Proactively initiates & manages work on complex assignments with limited supervision
