The Chevron Business Support Center located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the Procurement Specialist position. Successful candidates will join the Procurement Shared Services Center, which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1000 employees that delivers business services and solutions across the globe since 2006.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection (sourcing), purchasing, and order management (tracking and expediting), ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials at the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Coordinate transportation and logistics of goods.
• Promote process standardization, compliance, and maximized use of Chevron's preferred suppliers.
• Support clients/customers and assist with functional projects under regular supervision.
• General knowledge of the work group.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be capable to communicate (read, write and speak) in Spanish and English language.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy or Business Courses, Diploma/Certificate in Procurement/Supply Chain Management would be an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Contracting and Procurement Process, eSourcing, contract administration, and eProcurement would be an advantage
• Excellent planning, analytical, people and communication skills are essential to the job

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable with tools such as ARIBA, SAP, Ketera and GEP would be an advantage

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
