Your role and responsibilities
• Lead global research and development (R&D) architectural activities in alignment with strategic goals, serving as a key reference point for future technical directions. • Manage a team of System Architects specializing in software and hardware architectures, cybersecurity, regulations, and standardization, ensuring cohesive and robust product architecture. • Shape the future of technology through strategic planning and system-level service and API evolution, directly influencing the organization's technological trajectory. • Solve complex technical challenges for customers and stakeholders through innovative solu-tions and collaboration, leveraging intuition and expertise to drive breakthrough innovations. • Guide projects, processes, and tools to achieve R&D goals, working closely with operational teams to establish best practices and document architectural decisions and rationale. • Build and maintain relationships within the organization to align technical directions with prod-uct strategies, ensuring architectural integrity and effective prioritization of global backlogs. • Foster knowledge sharing and skill development within the organization by mentoring architects, facilitating internal and external knowledge transfer, and publishing internationally. • Actively participate in and contribute to global research communities, fostering networks with universities and other influential entities to enhance organizational visibility. • Develop and implement intellectual property strategies while proactively identifying and mitigating technical and business risks on a global scale.

Qualifications for the role
- Recognized global expert with a minimum of 20 years of advanced theoretical and practical experience in technology and architecture fields.
- Mastery of a core discipline with a thorough understanding of related disciplines, showcasing both depth and breadth of knowledge.
- Proven competence aligned with strategic direction and impactful contributions extending beyond divisional boundaries.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate geographic and cultural complexities with strong informal and functional leadership capabilities.
- Advanced academic credentials and significant customer interaction experience, supplemented by a record of mentoring and public contributions to the field.
- Strong experience in managing intellectual property and risk in a global technological environment.
