Understand industrial processes and sell the corresponding M&A solutions & services to the customers. Directly engage with all appropriate customers to promote and sell the Emerson Automation Solutions Business and Divisional Concepts including products, solutions and services in the agreed geographical area of responsibility. Ensure that the Division is properly promoted and supported within the sales region and all other Emerson BU's are introduced to the customer.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Signs responsible to achieve Sales, Bookings and Gross Profit target for the Divisional product lines in the agreed geographical area
• Actively visits existing customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services (maintaining customer base)
• Seeks new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers
• Seeks new opportunities to sell Emerson Analytic Solutions to an existing and new customer base
• Reports regularly to the Sales Manager on customer requirements, competition and market trends
• Negotiates with Customer Business Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority, including discount, price and volume structures
• Actively keeps up to date a complete definition of the customer organization (customer database)
• Maximizes both "face to face time" and other communication possibilities (telephone, e-mail, virtual meetings, etc.) with customers
• Maintains close relationship with product managers and other country organizations
• Trade Compliance according to the level and procedures described in ECME49. (Ref.: Emerson Trade Compliance European Legal Website)

• Engineering degree or comparable technical education
• Fluent in English Language
• MS Office
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• 5 years industry experience, ideally as process engineer
• Measurement & control background
