As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor here atHoneywell, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing advancedmanufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and you'llwork out of our Danville, KY location
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by drivingefficiency, improving quality, and increasing productivity. Your expertise inimplementing advanced manufacturing technologies and driving processimprovements will help us stay competitive in the market and deliver innovativeproducts to our customers. Your leadership and ability to collaborate withcross-functional teams will contribute to the overall success and growth of ourorganization. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line and helpus maintain our position as a global technology leader.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and manage advanced manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity
  • Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and processes to optimize production
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing strategies
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of manufacturing professionals

THE BUSINESS UNIT

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanicalproducts and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, includingaircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. Thebusiness develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanicalcomponents, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operatesfacilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands withHoneywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters andtrainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
  • Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical process control
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
