Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented a Lecturer A in Plumbing and Gas to teach across the full-time Level 1 and Level 2 and apprenticeship provision. You will be responsible for managing the learning process to ensure high quality provision leading to individual student success.

Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented a Lecturer A in Plumbing and Gas to teach across the full-time Level 1 and Level 2 and apprenticeship provision. You will be responsible for managing the learning process to ensure high quality provision leading to individual student success.
Ideally, you will:
- Hold a relevant professional qualification (minimum Level 3)
- Hold GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent
- Possess a PGCE / Cert. Ed. Level 5 teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards
- A strong desire to teach and train in plumbing and gas areas is expected
- Have experience of working within the plumbing and gas industry
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to manage and prioritise
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate with a range of young people and adults on both theoretical and practical aspects
- Demonstrate the ability to build good relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including students and employers
- Demonstrate values and behaviours suitable to work with students and within the team
- To implement creative and inspirational teaching and learning strategies
- Work under pressures with changing priorities with good organisational and administrative skills
