Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst, Energy Management maintains multiple utility and energy databases. Supports and supervises utility billing management, and executes project management coordination. This position will interface with internal customers, (Engineering, Property/Operation Managers, Construction and Corporate Accounting) utility providers, and with key network / server / metering suppliers.

Base Pay Range: $73,600.00 - $100,700.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

Job Duties:
Utility Management and Billing
- Manage utility billing outsource team and process
- Serve as direct contact and interface with utility providers
- Direct and assist billing and AP team (account setup, billing process and questions)
- Assist with utility budgeting, forecast and all reporting
EnergyCAP
- Maintain database integrity for utility, interval and billing data
- Collaborate with operations, accounting and vendors to provide utility support
- Accounts payable invoice management
- Responsible for resolving billing issues
- Perform weekly\monthly utility bill audits, adjustments, accruals and corrections
- Assist in development of annual utility budget
Tenant Billing
- Verify and perform monthly tenant sub meter billings
- Perform quarterly billing audits
Project coordination
- Direct construction and development teams on metering projects
- Support and assist new projects setup
- Support renewable energy and energy management projects
- Meter field programming and validation
EM Network support and hardware management
- Data center equipment management
- Submeter inventory management
- Facilitate trouble ticketing and support EM and comfort control systems
- Billing / allocation management
EnergyStar / LEED certification
Network Design Management - Schneider Platform
Planned outage management - electrical / network coordination
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of progressive account payable experience
Other:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of General Accounting Principles
- Understanding of building electrical infrastructure and systems
- Basic knowledge of utility billing and reading construction / electrical plans
- Proficient in Excel and Word and Google applications
- Use of EnergyCAP utility database a plus
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $73,600.00 - $100,700.00
