About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician I to join our team in the Maintenance department. As a HVAC Technician I, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems throughout the facility and outlying properties associated with Medical West. Your work will directly impact the comfort and safety of our employees and customers. You will work closely with our facilities team to ensure that all HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

As an HVAC Technician I, you will use your knowledge of HVAC systems and components to maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will also use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems. Your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics will be essential in performing preventative maintenance and ensuring optimal performance of all HVAC systems. Additionally, your strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be critical in collaborating with our facilities team to ensure all HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship or technical school program
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- EPA 608 certification
- Experience with building automation systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Minor HVAC repairs and maintenance, lighting, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Position will be required to maintain certain Pm records for various pieces of equipment.
- Position will be cross-trained in all aspects of the facilities equipment and utilities management program.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems
- Collaborate with facilities team to ensure all HVAC systems are functioning properly
- Maintain accurate records of all HVAC maintenance and repairs
- On occasion, the position is required to work after hours and odd shifts due to unscheduled maintenance.
