This position reports to
Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
II. General Responsibilities Accountable for supporting sales technically and comercially to increase the hit rate. Support sales to promote value based sales. Support product management to provide market oriented offering. III. Baseline & Principal Responsibilities - Support products mainly marine shaft generators, engine/turbine generators for CN and Asia region. - Configure the product mechanically and electrically using the available tools. - Providing technical and commercial support to LSUs, including sales argumentation (VBS). - Prepare comments & deviation acc.to customer specification for target projects. - In co-operation with GTS optimizing the design in line with customer specification, and to prepare comments and deviations (including argumentation for deviations taken). - Work as a contact window between sales and factory to secure smooth implementation of target projects. - Manage administrative procedures in sales processes. Continuously contribute to optimize the relevant products/processes. - Give training to LSUs, account managers and customers. - Make proposals by fully analyzing market needs and application feature. - Together with LSU analyze ABBs competitive situation, define "strategy to win" and quote generators accordingly. - In cooperation with LSU develop account plans, and to execute agreed marketing activities. - Study and provide product-level competitive analysis report of focused applications. - Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D.

Qualifications for the role
- Minimum Educational Qualification Requirements
- - Bachelor or master degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- - Experience in electrical machine design is preferred.
- - Experience in synchronous generator is a plus.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels.
- - Enthusiastic, innovative and able to change.
- - Ability to work globally within different cultures.
- - Fluent English, both written and spoken.
