Product Line Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will supporting the team ensuring that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area, in Smart Buildings division located in Vittuone. You will report to the Global Product Manager and you will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting and cooperating with global product management team in activities such as new product launch, product analysis, implementation of marketing tools, data management etc. • Understanding customer's real needs, market and applications/segments trends and opportunities. • Running competitor analyses including identification of product gaps and evaluates the ABB position. • Following and understanding global standards, market and customer requirements and their impact on the product portfolio. • Executing market analysis by product, segments and channels for the global market. • Supporting other Global Product Specialists in creation of marketing tools (brochures, catalogues) for the product launches. • Managing the technical specifications of product assigned including both new and existing products.

Qualifications for the role

• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• You are passionate about Team working, good interpersonal skills, results orientation, innovation spirit, proactivity and leadership will complete your profile.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Industrial engineering or Economics.
• You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, German will be considered a plus.
