Function description

As our WTP operator your tasks will be,

• Oversee the operation of equipment to purify and clarify water for public or industrial use.
• Perform regular water quality tests to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Inspect, clean, and repair pumps, filters, tanks, and other plant machinery.
• Regulate chemical dosages and adjust equipment settings based on water quality data.
• Maintain logs of plant operations, equipment performance, and water quality test results.

Requirements

For this job you need to have,

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in water treatment is required.
• Possession of a valid water treatment operator license, as mandated by local regulations.
• Right to work in the European Union
• English proficiency for working
• Ability to monitor complex systems and identify potential issues.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Estamos buscando un Operador de Planta de Tratamiento de Agua para unirse a nuestro equipo en un emocionante proyecto de túnel en los EEUU. El candidato ideal será responsable de operar y mantener los sistemas de tratamiento de agua para apoyar las actividades de construcción.

Función descriptiva

Como operador de nuestra PTA, tus tareas serán:

• Operar y supervisar los sistemas de tratamiento de agua para garantizar la correcta filtración, purificación y descarga de agua cumpliendo con las normativas locales, estatales y federales.
• Realizar inspecciones, mantenimiento y reparaciones rutinarias de los equipos de tratamiento de agua, incluidos bombas, filtros, tanques y sistemas de dosificación química.
• Llevar a cabo pruebas de calidad del agua y ajustar las dosis de productos químicos para cumplir con los estándares ambientales.
• Mantener registros detallados de las operaciones de tratamiento de agua, incluidos los logs de rendimiento de los equipos, pruebas de calidad del agua y actividades de mantenimiento.

Requisitos

Para este puesto necesitas:

• Título de secundaria o equivalente; formación o certificación adicional en tratamiento de agua es obligatoria.
• Entre 8-10 anos de experiencia en la area.
• Poseer una licencia válida de operador de tratamiento de agua, según las normativas locales.
• Dominio del inglés o espanol para el ámbito laboral.
• Capacidad para monitorear sistemas complejos e identificar posibles problemas.
• Aptitud para realizar tareas físicas, como levantar, escalar y estar de pie durante períodos prolongados.
