Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be working as Sr Engineer Manager and manage a team of designers/engineers/programing engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective and timely engineering solutions for various products, formulate operative plan in line with master plan, allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. Ensure team's compliance with standard processes, procedures, practices and safety requirements. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the MV Switchgear Unit in Brno, Vídeňská. You will be mainly accountable for: • Defining and ensuring implementation of operating guidelines for team. • Overseing progress within own area of responsibility, identifies and manages technical issues • Driving team performance to ensure that deliverables are met on time, as per the set contract, safety and quality requirements. • Ensuring that the engineering team is adequately resourced, developed and equipped to meet business needs. • Ensuring correct assignments of tasks within the engineering team and defining relevant performance metrics. • Creating work plans and cost estimates for engineering work. • Collaborate with other stakeholders locally and globally to ensure the team's goals are aligned • Co-operation on strategic planning with other departments • Collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that correct suppliers services and equipment are available to support the engineering execution • Conceptualizing new designs and translating concept into Product design. Designing products to align with project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc)

Qualifications for the role

• Requires a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering
• Prefer 7+ years of experience in a relevant senior position
• Must have good experience in Medium Voltage Switchgears
• Desirable Attributes:
• Team Management, Possess team orientation toward accomplishing common goals
• Ability to interact, communicate, and work effectively with all like Internal cross function Teams, Global team, Customers, and vendors
• Experienced with all phases of Engineering activities, active working relationship with both internal and external customers
• Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence. Self-driven with networking, collaboration, and intercultural skills
• Excellent leadership and people development skills, relevant and successful change management experience
• Advanced English
