Are you ready to take on the role of Instrumentation and Controls Coordinator for a major oil and gas company? As a key member of the maintenance team, you will provide subject matter expertise and support for instrumentation, control systems, and analyzers. This is a full-time contract position based in Midland, Texas, with a duration of 24-02-2025 to 24-02-2026.
Role Overview
- Implement maintenance design philosophies and project specifications for instrumentation and control systems.
- Provide technical support and coordination for risk assessments, incident investigations, and pre-Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies.
- Support cost management and productivity improvement plans.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide operations assistance during peak loads.
- Assist with training development and delivery.
- Share best practices and provide feedback for enhancement.
- Participate in company networks to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Develop personal expertise and share knowledge with others.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a closely related position.
- Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements (SSHE).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups.
- Ability to influence without authority and interact effectively with operation and maintenance organizations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
- Behavioral Skills: adaptability, analytical capability, collaboration, effective communication.
- Functional Skills: Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) management - operations and maintenance, maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, maintenance management, maintenance-I&C/A.
- Discipline appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in instrumentation and control systems advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of instrumentation, control systems, and analyzers.
