Job Description

The Theoretical Nuclear Physics Group at the University of Tennessee (UTK) is seeking a candidate for a postdoctoral position with a tentative start date of May 1, 2025.

The successful candidate will be involved in Advancing Theory For Nuclear Double-Beta Decay (@NDB), a Focused Research Hub in Theoretical Physics, website: https://doublebetacollaboration.wordpress.com. This project is computationally intensive.

Responsibilities

Pursue research within the framework of the NTNP collaboration.

Publish research result in journals and at scientific meetings.

Qualifications

. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in physics at the time of application, knowledge of nuclear physics and programming languages, and experience in large-scale computations.

Applicants should provide their CV with list of publications and research experience with their application.
