Position Summary Description
Performs as part of a team of an operational natural-gas fired combined cycle facility with a focus on Performance Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Reliability Improvement, and other duties as assigned. Provides administrative and technical support on long-term projects for Seminole subject matter experts (SMEs) addressing Reliability and Performance for the plant. Communicates with SMEs, internal contacts, and outside contacts depending on assignments.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related degree. Process knowledge is desirable. Coding and logic understanding is desirable. Co-op students are expected to be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester, maintain a 2.75 GPA, and work approximately 20 hours a week.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a hard hat, safety or steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection and other PPE requirement as assigned. The use of respiratory equipment may be required. Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
Working Conditions
Normal office working conditions. Some travel and work outside of normal business hours. While working in all areas of the plant, there may be extreme temperatures, dusty or dirty conditions, high noise levels, internal equipment inspections, working heights and inclement weather.

Essential Functions
- Participates in plant performance verifications of various processes.
- Participates in plant operations activities.
- Assists with data entry and notification development.
- Participates in the drafting of corporate procedures and other related technical documents.
- Participates in meetings with SMEs and management to identify and address potential areas of performance and reliability improvement.
- Participates in training.
- Assists with the development of material and inventory management.
- Assists with identifying potential vendors and procurement functions such as specification development and purchase requisitions.
- Other duties as applicable to the position or as assigned
