Description:
As an Energy Engineering Intern at LG Energy Solution, you will be assisting and supporting cost effective initiatives for multiple utility facility operations and construction projects.

Responsibilities: At LGESMI you will working directly with our Manufacturing/Production Engineers and will be working on projects that include:

• Support the planning and operations engineering activities concerned with design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning
  • Mechanical: Boiler, Compressed Dry Air System, Chiller, HVAC, Piping etc.
  • Electrical: Switchgear (MV, LV), Transformer, PLC, Bus duct etc.

• Assist with troubleshooting breakdown of utility facilities
• Monitoring utility operations
• Demonstrate problem-solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility cost
• Follow the work procedure and comply with safety & standard

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related majors -Junior or Senior standing
• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 GPA or higher
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new tasks and projects
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
• Ability to work outside and complete manual labor
