Your responsibilities:

Mentorship & Training

• On-Site Training: Provide hands-on guidance in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and completing HVAC repairs, ensuring junior technicians understand and adhere to company standards and safety protocols.
• Skill Development: Offer training on advanced maintenance procedures, customer service and sales techniques; lead by example in demonstrating best practices.
• Ongoing Education: Identify skill gaps within the team and suggest training sessions or certifications to enhance team capabilities and knowledge base.
• Troubleshooting Assistance: Provide expert-level troubleshooting support on complex issues and serve as an escalation point for difficult or unresolved technical problems.
• Documentation Oversight: Verify that all service records, documentation, and customer signatures are completed accurately and fully.
• Customer Interaction & Satisfaction
• Customer Education: Provide in-depth guidance to customers regarding HVAC system maintenance, operation, and system upgrade options; assist in explaining complex issues in understandable terms.
• Represent Excellence: Serve as the face of the company, embodying professionalism, expertise, and customer-focused service always.

Preferred Qualifications for Senior HVAC Service Technician

• Proven track record in HVAC field service with 5+ years of experience in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems.
• Proven experience in residential customer interactions and business development.
• Expertise in digital diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Measure Quick, Service Titan).
• Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to field service operations.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with a commitment to helping others succeed.
