JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Senior Instrument Designer (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• under direct supervision, prepare project drawings and documents from the basic data supplied, using the appropriate software
• designs and drawings for accuracy and conformance to technical specifications and procedures
• ensure all relevant specifications, codes, standards and procedures and technical instructions from engineering are being correctly applied
• maintain drawing registers and ensure Document Management System is maintained to current procedures
• contributes to technical delivery of engineering excellence through
• executing assigned scopes of work
• providing discipline expertise to the business
• uses technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce a range of engineering deliverables (including more complex tasks) with limited guidance and direction from more senior technical professionals
• evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks
• fully qualified to execute most standard and straight forward engineering activities
• under general supervision performs all conventional aspects of design engineering and analysis, acting as document originator
• creates and reviews designs, drawings, specifications and other engineering deliverables involving both existing and new technology and applications
• conduct site surveys and issue reports when required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in relevant Engineering field
• SP3D (will be an advantage)
• AutoCAD knowledge
