Function description

We are looking for a proactive Finance Medewerker to support the financial operations of our client's organization. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, contribute to compliance with local regulations, and help maintain the company's financial health.

• Key Responsibilities
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoices, monitor payments, and handle overdue account follow-ups.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain and update financial records in compliance with Dutch accounting standards.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations and address any discrepancies.
• Payroll Support: Assist in payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee payments.
• VAT & Tax Filings: Support the preparation and submission of VAT and other tax filings.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: MBO degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., Exact Online, SAP, or other accounting tools).
• Language Skills:
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) but preferably also native in Dutch.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and regulations is preferred.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
