In this capacity, you will prepare high-quality reports and reconciliation, collaborate with internal and external customers, and help to identify process improvements to provide excellent financial service to Emerson as a member of the Global Financial Services Manila organization. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To perform bank reconciliation and month-end financial activities.
• To validate the accuracy of data, verify discrepancies, and resolve reconciling transactions.
• To perform balance sheet account reconciliation, analyze the account details to validate the correctness of the balance, and reconcile with other system modules.
• To collaborate closely and connect with various partners for critical deliverables.
• To check for completeness and validate compliance of reports.
• To prepare and post Journal entries; troubleshoot and resolve disputes encountered on entries.
• To prepare and provide supporting documents for audit requirements.
• To perform Fixed Assets Accounting, assist in preparing ad hoc reports, and perform other tasks as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Accounting-related courses.
• 3 years of work experience in general accounting, majority of which should be in General Ledger performing bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, and audit support.
• Solid understanding of internal control and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, including Oracle and SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
