We are currently seeking a bilingual Pre Commissioning/Commissioning & Handover Process Superintendent reporting directly to the Commissioning and Startup Deputy Operations Manager to join the team on-site based in Ensenada, Mexico.

About the Job

The Process Superintendent is responsible for the PC&C process activities related to an area or unit. He ensures activities are carried out in accordance with Safety, Health and Environment policy of the project.

Your main missions and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following :

• Responsible for the technical validation of the Project components site tests related to the process unit.
• Generate the Precommissioning, Commissioning Procedures and method statements related to the unit.
• Liaise with the construction/erection subcontractor for the execution of these static and dynamic tests.
• Coordinate and supervises the vendors representatives activities on site for the PC&C process activities.
• Assist Company in the Start-up of the unit as required
• Handover of the Process Unit by System to COMPANY. Therefore, ensuring that Completion Packages related to scope are ready for Handover on schedule.
• Identify required resources, labor and material, necessary to keep the utilities reliable during the commissioning of the Process unit.

About You

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a process specialist and will have at least 10 years' international experience in Oil&Gas/ Petrochemical Plants, Construction and Operation troubleshooting. He/She will have already occupied an operational position within an international sized project with Precommissioning and Commissioning aspects.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective information exchange among stakeholders.
• Negotiation Skills: Proficient in conducting negotiations related to punch list closure, mechanical completion (MC), and readiness for start-up (RFSU)
• Organizational Skills: Well-organized and structured, with a systematic approach to work, ensuring adherence to established rules and procedures.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and environments, demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to high standards and that no critical details are overlooked.

Languages: Bilingual with professional working proficiency in Spanish & English
