What are you going to do
As an Instrumentation Technical Specialist at Brunel International, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the area of Instrumentation and Control. It is a hands on role that entails assisting the tradesman with day to day maintenance activities on a wide variety of instruments within the gold processing plant, load cells, density & flow meters, level & pressure transmitters, pneumatic valves & controls, calibration of gas detectors and the maintenance/repairs on any other instrumentation equipment commonly found in gold processing plants. They will need a good understanding of PLC & DCS, a basic understanding of electrical and will also be managing instrumentation continuous improvement / project works (< USD 500,000).

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Electrical or Instrumentation Cert/ Qualification- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control
- Experience with designing and implementing instrumentation and control systems- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel to PNG as required

- Conducting system testing and troubleshooting
- Developing and maintaining system documentation
- Liaising with clients to identify their requirements and provide technical solutions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
