As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and safety standards. You will support all phases of project execution, from design to commissioning, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering tasks such as design, layout definition, installation drawings, and material specifications for process measuring sensors, actuators, and safety elements.
- Review client technical documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation for instrumentation materials, specifications, and requisitions.
- Optimize instrumentation design to minimize costs and complexity while meeting safety and contractual standards.
- Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and validate technical documents provided by vendors.
- Participate in the preparation of BOQs, MTOs, and P&ID mechanization.
- Validate vendor calculations for control valves, safety valves, and measurement elements.
- Contribute to 3D modeling design activities and support FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) at vendor workshops.
- Provide on-site technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in instrumentation engineering, including design, validation, and installation activities.
- Familiarity with technical standards, QA/QC requirements, and HSE regulations.
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and manage vendor interactions.
- Experience in preparing BOQs, MTOs, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in supporting construction and commissioning activities.
