JOB DESCRIPTION
ISG is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our dynamic team for the summer. This internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in your specific engineering discipline while participating in a comprehensive professional development program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a 4-year Environmental, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering program with an emphasis or interest in Water/Wastewater.
- Become familiar with and produce work using computer aided software programs.
- Be accountable to other members of the team to complete assigned tasks and recognize performance of other team members.
- Work on several projects at one time.
- Must have strong communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Professional Development Program
Throughout the summer, interns will take part in our professional development program designed to enhance their skills and home in on their strengths. This program includes:
- Bi-Weekly Workshops: Participate in sessions led by Kinzee Miest and Mariah Burroughs covering topics such as goal setting, elevating your strengths, and building confidence in a professional setting.
- Mentorship: Receive guidance and support from a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate your internship.
- Career Development: Gain insights into career paths and opportunities within the engineering field through coaching sessions with your team leaders.
WATER/WASTEWATER ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP LOCATIONS
- Storm Lake, IA - You will be working closely with Guadalupe Munoz Rocha and Tom Grafft.
- Des Moines, IA - You will be working closely with Seth Lamb and Casey Patton.
- Sioux Falls, SD - You will be working closely with Rachel Kloos.
- St. Louis Park, MN - You will be working closely with Emily Brinkman.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Housing stipends provided to students who relocate.
- Ability to start working towards your ESOP eligibility.
- This position is eligible for US Visa Sponsorship.
- This position is open to candidates with Curricular Practical Training and/or Optional Practical Training.
