Job Profile Summary

This dual-role position within the Electrification Service (ELSE) division combines strategic market development with operational leadership in marketing and sales. The role is responsible for driving proactive business development aligned with the division strategy, while also leading the service marketing and sales organization in Japan. The position ensures profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, with a strong focus on electrification, sustainability, and advisory services. The role reports solid-line to the ELSE Asia Marketing & Sales Regional Leader.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Market Development

  • Define, develop, and execute strategies and business plans for focus segments, channels, and applications in Japan, aligned with ELSE Asia and global divisional goals.
  • Extend the market coverage for all ELSE Service offerings under Care, Modernization, and Advisory Services, and support the development of the new Energy & Carbon business line in the Japanese market.
  • Identify and create new business opportunities by understanding Japanese market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory trends.
  • Build local language offerings and training for customers and team members.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies and product launches, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales targets.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for product performance, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze competitive landscape including Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi, Toshiba, and other local players.
  • Support cross-divisional and regional initiatives, ensuring consistent implementation and knowledge sharing.

Marketing & Sales Leadership

  • Implement and drive service marketing and sales strategies to achieve performance targets and optimize resource utilization.
  • Lead the commercialization execution of productized service offerings and marketing campaigns to increase market share in electrification and sustainability services.
  • Ensure delivery and performance standards are met to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement and profitability, including close collaboration with service operations for improvement on financial and operational metrics, P&L, productivity, and customer feedback (e.g., NPS).

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Accelerate EL Service growth model for Japan highly dynamic market. Establish marketing and sales team, build talent pipeline, coach young talent, support workforce planning, team development, and talent management.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, capable, and motivated team across marketing and sales.
  • Act as a bridge between global functions and local team to ensure alignment and growth execution.
