Job Description:

Radiance Solar is seeking an Electrical Engineer(Level I or II) to join our team. The electrical
engineer will be directly reporting to the Director of Pre-construction and will be responsible for
creating engineering design plansets, performing complex electrical calculations based on NEC
standards, supporting the engineering team with the day-to-day design work, and liaising with other
CAD designers in the department.

Responsibilities:

• Take design instructions from the senior engineer and accordingly prepare high-quality construction drawings
• Provide support with designing all aspects of 100kW to 50MW+ commercial and utility-scale solar PV systems
• Prepare solar production analysis using PVsyst software
• Perform solar string sizing calculations, conductor sizing, and equipment selection - (training and tools will be provided)
• Ensure NEC and AHJ code compliance on all electrical calculations
• Draft electrical one-line diagrams and schematics using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
• Assist with field visits to determine solar feasibility and interconnection strategy
• Interact with Professional engineers (EE) to facilitate timely stamping of electrical plansets
• Prepare electrical-related Bill of Materials (BOM) based on architectural and electrical drawings prepared by in-house CAD designers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited)
• 2+ years experience with AutoCAD software
• Detail-oriented professional with strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly
• Basic knowledge of Power Engineering
• Valid driver's license
