AtkinsRéalis Minerals & Metals LLC seeks Senior Electrical Engineer in Sandy, UT: Respond to RFIs from contractors; Review electrical and automation deliverable submissions from contractors for bulks and material being purchased; Resolve electrical engineering issues that arise on site; Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract scope and completed to schedule milestones; Negotiate and monitor changes to the work scope caused by design and filed changes and site conditions; Collaborate with the Contracts Administrator to raise the required documentation for the quantification and approval of any changes; Continuously monitor the Contractor's safety HSSE performance and ensure that the Contractor's scope of services is delivered in accordance with the construction schedule and the required design quality requirements; Coordinate and monitor the Contractors' quality, productivity and performance; Provide constructability input, as required; Oversee the work of subcontracted companies to ensure quality control and delivery on schedule and on budget; and, Provide input on subcontractor proposals and recommendations, as required.

Requirements: Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical) or foreign equivalent and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In lieu of a Master's degree, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical) or foreign equivalent, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Knowledge of: The management of construction projects (within the engineering industry) with a budget of at least $20 million; Industry regulations, electrical codes, safety standards (such as NEC, IEC, IEEE, NEMA), and compliance requirements; Overseeing an entire project lifecycle, including construction completion, turnover, and commissioning; AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, EASYPOWER, and/or other specialized software for comprehensive power system design, analysis, and modeling. National travel required 50%-80% of the time for work on various construction projects within the United States. May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States. Remote working or telecommuting permitted in all U.S. States, in accordance with company policy.
