Mission
During the contract execution phase, analyze and manage the contract terms, exploring contractual solutions and alternatives in order to minimize risks and optimize opportunities, manage correspondence, claims and changes with subcontractors.
Tasks
• ensuring that all aspects of the contract during the execution phase are correctly addressed and transfer contractual documents and information to the Project Team as appropriate (for example, through dedicated contract-induction sessions);
• Provide all necessary reports regarding contract management matter to the corporate/company/project management, and assist the PM/PD and the other members of the Project Team in handling the contractually relevant matters;
• Ensure collection and sharing of lessons learned, feedbacks and returns of experience on issues/criticalities encountered during contract management activities;
• Verify the completeness of contract documents (consistency check), supervise their distribution to project team member;
• Assist in developing the contract management execution strategy and ensure change process on the project, including appropriate claim management actions;
• Ensure that all project specific contracts for goods, services or subcontracts are drafted incorporating contractual obligations and assisting in identifying critical packages (subcontractors and vendors) requiring special monitoring of contract risks;
• Analyzing the Project correspondence and the contractual implication therefrom;
• Draft the correspondence concerning contractual matters;
• Keep record of the cases when the Project Supply Chain (including subcontractors) do not fulfil their contractual obligations, assess the consequences thereof with the Project team in order to duly notify the involved party;
• Participate in the negotiation of the change orders and claims and finalization of contract amendments;
• Keep record of the status of change orders and claims;
• Ensure the contribution to the Legal function for the management of preliminary activities of litigations and contribute during the following activities;
Requirements
•Fluent English required;
•8 years of work experience in similar role;
•Effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
•Analytical skills, result oriented and collaborative work style.
