Elevate Your Career in Head of Rotating Equipment

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Rotating Equipment to join our team in Paris, France. This is a full-time contract position with a duration of 12 months, with the possibility of renewal. As the Head of Rotating Equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client's rotating equipment. If you have a strong background in Rotating Equipment Engineering we want to hear from you!

Role Overview

• Oversee rotating engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, data sheets, and quality standards.
• Conduct cold eye reviews of FEED rotating engineering deliverables and suggest necessary changes.
• Provide technical clarifications during the ITT phase as requested by bidders.
• Offer guidance to FEED contractors and vendors during the FEED phase, resolving rotating engineering technical issues to meet project milestones.
• Support the RFP issuance for Long Lead Items, review technical proposals, and capture lessons learned from previous projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in Rotating Engineering, ideally within major LNG projects.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment (e.g., Frame 6 and Frame 9 gas turbines), design standards, specifications, and safety criteria.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong technical and management skills, with good organizational and planning abilities.
• Good coordination, influencing, and interface skills.
