Safety Manager (Texas)

Pay rate: $50 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a Safety Manager to join our team in Texas. This is a 'rover position' overseeing construction projects for a Utility across the state of Texas. We are looking for someone who has worked for an EPC or Sub-contractor previously oversseing T-Line and Substation projects. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees and contractors, as well as compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions
• Provide safety training to employees and contractors
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in safety management
• Experience in the renewable energy industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
