The role will support the Operations Lead - East to deliver safe, reliable and competitive pre and on airport operations as well as to provide assurance of compliance with local legislation, BP Aviation and BP Group standards.

Site Supervisor

(Pafos Airport - Cyprus)

In this role You will:

• Be responsible for all delegated administrative duties for the site, as well as for carrying out all day to day tasks required to safely, effectively and efficiently operating the fuel storage facility and into plane activity
• Operate sophisticated, high cost mobile and fixed equipment in carrying out these tasks
• Perform day to day operations, maintenance and safety tasks strictly according to the Site Operating Standards
• Ensure team members are fully trained and competent in all their delegated tasks
• Supervise a team and strictly adhere to the Air BP Rules
• Comply with all company and legislated HSE requirements which apply to the operation and is accountable for ensuring the completion of compliance tasks assigned
• Perform tasks critical to the Quality Assurance System
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all staff, including third party contractors engaged in any engineering activities or non-routine activities which are on-going on the site
• Responsible to schedule as well as implement maintenance and inspection programs required for the site
• Responsible for ensuring that Preventative Maintenance Systems are kept up to date

What You will need to be successful:

• Engineering Degree (Tertiary education, preferably university degree)
• HSEE Training Certification is considered as an advantage
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcomed but preferably 3-4 years of experience in Operations / HSSE roles required
• Ability to supervise a team, previous people management experience is a great plus
• Native Greek and fluent English are mandatory
• Driving License for categories C and CE: in case successful candidate does not have the required license for mentioned categories, they will need to obtain the licenses within 3-5 months upon employment.
• Flexibility to be present at Pafos Airport on all working days, with occasional weekend hours as needed
• On-call readiness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills and capability to use various role related software
• High level of enthusiasm and drive, as well as great team management skills
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret data accurately
• Ability to work under pressure
• Given the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a comprehensive medical examination to confirm their fitness and ability to safely perform the job responsibilities.
