- Position: Project Manager / Project Engineer for small to medium-sized projects (<$1MM)
- Assignment term: 1 year, with option to extend
- Reports to: Site Engineering Manager
- Contractor will be a Seconded Employee
- Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams to meet schedule, budget, and safety goals
- Oversee Engineering Contractors for deliverables
- Participate in HAZOPs, Design & Constructability Reviews
- Develop a cohesive site Project Team and foster a blame-free environment
- Work with Cost Estimating to support project funding
- Manage procurement, purchases, contracts, and invoices
- Coordinate environmental permitting with EHS team and consultants
- Track project progress, scope changes, financials, and prepare summaries
- Integrate Operations team to ensure operability, maintainability, and safety
- Manage field construction efforts with contractors
- Ensure proper asset capitalization at project closure
- Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering required
- 5+ years of experience, 10 years preferred
- 5+ years in capital project execution
- Experience in Chemical or related industries required
- Additional Qualifications:
- Strong team management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with local Engineering and Construction firms preferred
- Strong field management and chemical plant knowledge
- Willing to travel > 75% if not located in Winder, GA
- SAP experience preferred
