The key objectives for this role are:
- Instrumentation System Design: Lead the design and layout of instrumentation systems including control systems, field devices and instrumentation panels ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
- Integration and Coordination: Ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems with other engineering disciplines and ensure effective coordination between teams to achieve the project's technical and operational goals
- Project Management and Execution: Oversee the instrumentation design process ensuring the timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure that the instrumentation design and implementation processes meet the highest quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior designer in Instrumentation design activities by timely developing the drawings as per project and company quality standards
- Ability to Analyze & understand Client requirements
- Ability to develop Bills of Materials
- E3D, SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling or 2D Drafting
- Installation layouts (Instrument Location layouts, Air distribution, Main Cable Routing, Secondary cable tray). Building Layouts (Control Room Equipment layout, Earthing layout, Telecom layout). Instrument standard installation / Hookups and Cable block diagram
- Loop drawing, wiring diagram in 2D as well as in SPI
- Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management
- Coordinate within members of discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc.
- Participate in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out
- Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
- Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas

Expected:
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics and Communication
- 15+ years' experience in I&C design, with minimum 5+ Years Engineering consultancy
- In-depth knowledge of design tools - AutoCAD / Micro station
- E3D, SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling software experience
- Ability to organize and set priorities
- Ability to communicate and present effectively
- Ability to report in in English, both verbal & in writing.
- Proactive attitude
