Job Title: Demand Generation Associate, Northern California
Location: You will need to live within a commutable distance to one of our two offices in Northern California (Redwood City or San Francisco).
About the Role:
We're looking for a dynamic and driven Demand Generation Associate with a strong hustle mentality to support our growth in Northern California. This role involves a high level of internal partnership between Product and GTM teams: you'll be the key link between marketing, sales, consulting, and product teams. Your primary goal is to drive high-quality marketing qualified and sales qualified leads that convert into consulting opportunities. You'll work directly with and report to the Demand Generation Manager, providing crucial support in executing campaigns, researching target accounts, and generating high-quality leads for our consulting teams. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be aligned to 1-2 of our core industry teams, becoming a subject matter expert in those areas
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Event Support : Assist in defining, driving, and ensuring the success of marketing activities, including campaigns and events, under the guidance of the Demand Generation Manager and in collaboration with sales and industry teams.
Campaign Execution : Support the execution of multi.-channel demand generation campaigns (e.g., email, events, webinars), including list building, scheduling, and initial reporting. Conduct analysis on Slalom, our clients, industry trends, and use insights to target and influence buyers.
Target Account Research : Conduct research on target companies and individuals within the assigned Northern California industry/industries, identifying key contacts and relevant information.
Data Management : Maintain data accuracy and integrity within our CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and other marketing systems.
Outreach & Follow-up : Conduct initial outreach to prospects (e.g., email, LinkedIn) to qualify interest and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Content Support : Assist in creation and distribution of marketing collateral.
Reporting & Analysis : Track campaign performance metrics and provide reports to the Demand Generation Manager.
Collaboration : Work closely with the Demand Generation Manager, sales team, and other internal stakeholders.
Industry Alignment : Become a subject matter expert within 1-2 of the below industry teams, supporting the go-to-market plan developed by the Demand Generation Manager. Major industries include: Tech - Software, Tech - Hardware, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail, Energy, Financial Services, and Public Sector / Social Impact.
Administrative Support : Provide general administrative support to the Demand Generation Manager as needed
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in a consulting, marketing, sales support, or business development role, preferably in a consulting or B2B environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools is a plus.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Basic understanding of demand generation principles.
• Demonstrated hustle, drive, and a dynamic personality.
• Familiar with using AI tools to accelerate productivity.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $81,000 to $111,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual and quarterly discretionary bonuses. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
