National Grid is hiring a Senior Analyst, Product Developer, Customer Energy Managementin Waltham, MA
This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to our locations

Job Purpose

As a Product Developer, you will drive the development of innovative energy efficiency, demand response, and decarbonization products for residential, commercial, and income-eligible customers. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring these offerings meet customer needs, achieve energy goals, and drive market success.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the development of energy efficiency, demand response, and decarbonization solutions, managing projects from concept to execution.
• Define project goals, product requirements, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to drive product demos and market development.
• Evaluate and manage new product concepts through established frameworks, ensuring feasibility and innovation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate product capabilities, customer economics, and demonstration success.
• Provide updates and metrics to assess the health and progress of the product innovation portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency project management or related analytical roles.
• Familiarity with the electric and gas industry, energy efficiency program planning, and regulatory processes.
• Strong communication and project management skills; PMP, CEM, or CSM certification a plus.

Skills

• Ability to analyze energy data, identify patterns, and develop solutions for program improvement.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing collaborative projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills, focused on delivering effective solutions and driving product innovation.

Salary
$108,000 - $127,000 a year
Salary commensurate with location and experience

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
