Position Overview:
Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is a Nuclear Survivability Analyst candidate to support the Office of Nuclear Forensics, Energy, and Survivability, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters (DASD(NM)). In this role you will use your expertise to assist in coordinating the functions of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Survivability Oversight Group-Nuclear (CSOG-N) and its subordinate committees.

Position Overview:
Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is a Nuclear Survivability Analyst candidate to support the Office of Nuclear Forensics, Energy, and Survivability, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters (DASD(NM)). In this role you will use your expertise to assist in coordinating the functions of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Survivability Oversight Group-Nuclear (CSOG-N) and its subordinate committees.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Plan meetings logistics, addressing administrative requirements, and coordinating action items.
- Draft and coordinating department and congressionally mandated reports.
- Perform analysis on survivability, command and control, and nuclear weapon matters.
- Attend and recording minutes for scheduled meetings.
- Process documents, data, and reports as needed to support client requirements.
- Assist in maintaining and updating CBRN Survivability policy and assist in coordinating, compiling, and providing an in-depth analysis on the results of the biannual Mission Critical Report to ensure compliance with DoDI 3150.09 (CBRN Survivability Policy).
- Provide support and assistance regarding nuclear survivability, with special attention to the effects of Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) on DoD systems, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Provide support and assistance to the Strategic Radiation-Hardening Electronics Council (SRHEC).
- Review, analyze, advise, and develop documents in support of the development of an investment strategy for acquiring and improving CWMD capabilities including those in support of international nuclear programs, technical nuclear forensics (including device defeat), survivability and resilience.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Six years of progressive nuclear experience.
- Knowledge of DoD roles and missions and organizational structure.
- Demonstrated proficency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of DoD roles, missions, and organizational structure in CBRN survivability.
- Significant aptitude and interpersonal maturity to support DoD executive leadership with little supervision.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven ability to draft technically oriented documents for senior policy decision makers on highly classified and complex scientific, engineering, and technical topics and subjects.
- Exposure to a scientific, engineering, or technical field.
- Familiarity with federal and/or DoD budgeting and acquisition process, including management and tracking of funds, strategic planning, requirements determinations, and project milestone development and tracking.
- Direct experience and/or technical knowledge related to DoD aspects of CBRN survivability
- MS/MA in a related field.
- Excellent writing skills and an in-depth knowledge of editorial principles and techniques.
