Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Service Contract Manager to join our team at Marine & Ports, Propulsion Service unit in Vuosaari, Helsinki. In this role, you will manage one or several service agreements and ensure that all contract related obligations are fulfilled. In order to be successful, you will also need to identify sales opportunities and lead development projects, while ensuring all contract management activities are executed according to company procedures and our contract management framework. You will be mainly accountable for: • With a sense of urgency and care, ensuring that service agreement commitments are followed and implemented according to ABB's framework • Identifying opportunities for improving the customers operations and eliminating pain points • Preparing and executing regular performance reviews internally and externally with the customer • Supporting the development of the contracts by gathering customer feedback and distributing it to the appropriate internal stakeholders • Optimizing the contracts by analyzing the deliverables • Coaching and supporting the service project and site managers in their projects • Creating and organizing handovers for project managers to initiate contracts' projects

Qualifications for the role

• Several years of previous experience from service business; your role can have been in project management, sales, supply chain, account management or in another relevant area
• Independent and solution-focused way of working with the ability to think analytically
• Wide knowledge of contracts, preferably long-term service contracts, and proven track record in contract management
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Business or Economics
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English are necessary in the role
• Previous experience working in the Marine industry is an advantage for the role
