We are seeking a skilled Plant I&E Technician to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a new 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin, located in Mentone, Texas.

Role Overview

• Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and controls equipment for the plant
• Support various equipment including natural gas and liquids separation, condensate stabilization, amine treating and gas dehydration, turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression, and more
• Contribute to the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures
• Interface with various teams including plant mechanics, operators, engineers, and safety personnel
• Work onsite at the Janus Plant site near Mentone, Texas
• Follow a rotational schedule of day shifts with night call-out responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of gas processing and gas compression
• Experience with project automation plant development
• Proficiency in instrumentation and electrical work
• Optional experience with natural gas and liquids separation, condensate stabilization, amine treating and gas dehydration, and more
• Familiarity with various equipment such as turbines, compressors, refrigeration systems, and more
• Knowledge of PLCs, plant control systems, safety systems, and communication systems
• Experience with PDCs, MCCs, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, generators, and other electrical equipment
• Understanding of electrical substations and power distribution
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
• Certifications in relevant areas such as instrumentation or electrical work are advantageous
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in I&E equipment maintenance and operations
