Airswift has been Tasked to find a Method Instrumentation Engineer to work for one of our major costumers based in Luanda Angola.
  • Starting date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months renewable
  • Location: Luanda, Angola
  • Rhythm: Residential
  • Brownfield project, from FEED/Basic Engineering to Startup/hand-over

Activities
1. Promote values & safety culture within the project and managed activities. Lead by example, coach team members and colleagues to adhere and contribute.
2. Ensure safe and ethical working practices are carried out within managed or interface activities.
3. Be conversant with latest revision of company's referential, ensure these and local rules/laws are complied with and captured within contractual requirements.
4. Contribution to the reporting of anomalies and incidents and participate as well to diagnosis and corrective actions

Tasks
5. Performs technical clarification to launch orders.
6. Tracks current orders & ensure deadlines.
7. Carries out engineering of the new designs in accordance with site requirements.
8. Co-ordinates planning activities in agreement with other entities, subcontractors, FFSD team.
9. Ensures quality of the replacement interventions: planning consistency, maintenance orders, work packs, reporting, SAP data, Job card update.
10. Plans work order tasks by clearly identifying the work needed and associated equipment and materials to complete the job safely and efficiently
11. methods and planning for short and medium-term activities.
  • organizes Instrumentation activities according to the priorities and report define by the Planning Leader
  • Requires modification or creation of master data such as new materials, new locations, description changes, etc.
  • Sets realistic Target Dates for execution of the work and for procurement of material and services

Qualifications/Experience required
  1. Experience in oil and gas or petrochemical plant.
  2. Experience of maintenance or project activities
  3. Equivalent of B.Sc. Instrumentation Engineering (2.1) (DUT/BTS - French)
  4. 10 years of general industrial maintenance, with 5 years assignment in the oil/gas industry
  5. Computer literacy is required
  6. Ability to work offshore under the climatic conditions of the site,
  7. Ability to work in a multinational team. Ability to work in a service relationship.
  8. Competence/experience in the relevant specialties (static and rotating equipment, electricity, instrument)
  9. Experience in CMMS (SAP) mandatory and Microsoft Office Suite
  10. Good communication skills, organizational skills and positive attitude.
  11. Languages: English mandatory
