Reporting to the Head of Consolidation & Accounting
The job is part of the Financial Control & Legal department and involves working with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced business environment, where timely registration and accuracy are essential for business processes.
Job Dimensions:
- Number of entities: approximately 5-6
- Treatment of bank account statements for each entity (2 bank accounts per entity)
The jobholder performs all activities while maintaining the highest level of Safety and Health, protecting the Environment, and reporting any HSE anomalies.
Administration of Renewable Energy Entities:
- Ensure proper processing of cash calls and invoices, including collection of all necessary documentation and authorization for timely payment; timely registration in the accounting system is required.
- Re-invoice charges to third parties while collecting all necessary documentation.
- Ensure timely receipts from third parties and follow up with reminders on outstanding items.
- Post bank statements and reconcile them with the accounting records for each company, especially at month-end.
- Follow up on un-reconciled bank items.
- Regularly analyze each company’s accounts, take appropriate action to resolve outstanding items, and alert management to any (potential) problems.
- Maintain proper filing of cash calls, invoices, re-invoices, and bank statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate closure of the main Head Office (HO) accounts at month-end and provide financial reporting (BS and P&L) to HQ.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries related to the HO accounts of the entities.
- Play an important role in communication with internal stakeholders such as the Legal Department, Tax Team, and Renewables Team.
- Assist with the yearly closure of accounts for all entities.
- Provide information and analysis as required for internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the annual tax reporting.
- Support the preparation of documents for tax authorities (VAT, Energy Tax, CIT, Wage Tax) and provide documentation for partner audits, statutory audits, and insurance claims.
- Ensure quality and maintenance of Excel reporting preparation files, including inter-company reconciliation.
- Prepare the complete financial reporting package on a quarterly basis in accordance with Group standards for consolidation purposes.
- Assist in the production of standalone annual accounts.
- Support the year-end closing and consolidation process in compliance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Take the lead in testing and transitioning from Excel-based administrations to SAP to ensure continuity and accuracy of financial figures.
- Prepare, process, and manage batch payments and manual payments in bank platforms.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to meet contractual terms and conditions.
- Check bank statements and follow up on discrepancies if needed.

JOB SUMMARY
