The Wind Turbine Support Specialist is a technical and procedural subject matter expert on Wind turbine electrical and mechanical systems necessary to ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Wind Turbine Support Specialist to serve as a technical and procedural subject matter expert on wind turbine electrical and mechanical systems necessary to operate ACCIONA's renewable generating facilities. This position identifies technical issues, develops solutions through troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis, and provides training to site personnel, ensuring safe and efficient operations aligned with ACCIONA's commitment to excellence.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical support provided both on-site and remotely to optimize equipment availability
• Preventative maintenance programs designed for efficiency and reliability
• Operational trend analysis to recommend improvements and identify product defects
• Technician training to share best practices across locations
• Process development support for long-term facility performance
• Accurate documentation and reporting to assist internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Competencies

About You

• Highly skilled wind energy professional with expertise in troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• Experience: 7-10 years as a Wind Farm Technician or 3+ years in technical support with an engineering degree
• Hands-on expertise with AW3000 and AW1500 turbine platforms (Gamesa G8x experience is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
• Proficient in medium- and high-voltage equipment handling
• Leadership and coordination skills with excellent communication and organization
• Travel flexibility: 40%+ both domestically and internationally
• Software proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Maximo experience is a plus)
• Fluency in Spanish is beneficial

• Base Pay: $80,000 - $105,000 (based on experience, education, and skillset)
