Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the execution of small to medium-size Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) projects at customer facilities to optimize logistics and material movement for our customers. Each day, you will ensure successful project execution by coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, mitigating risks, and delivering seam-less robotic automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership will drive teams to provide cutting edge technology and products in a rapidly growing and highly demanded mobile robotics market. The work model for the role is: #LI - Hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Robotics division in Auburn Hills, MI. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers. You will be mainly accountable for: • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract. • Project planning & execution, customer & stakeholder management, risk management & problem solving, performance monitoring & optimization, budget & resource management, documentation & compliance.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- 5+ years in project management, preferably in robotics, automation, or logistics. Prior experi-ence working in a manufacturing or production environment implementing intralogistics auto-mation solutions.
- Technical Exposure: Familiarity with AMR software, fleet management systems, and integration with WMS/ERP.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in warehouse automation, manufacturing, or supply chain lo-gistics.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
