Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Global Technical Bid Manager to join our Business Line Marine Systems; Automation and Control Solutions team. If you are a customer-focused, highly motivated professional with a passion for technology, especially marine automation systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The work model for the role is hybrid: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Designing technical system offerings and preparing the technical bid documents, including cost estimates for marine automation and control systems. • Collaborating closely with our suppliers as well as R&D and engineering departments to define optimum solutions for our customers worldwide. • Working alongside sales managers, presenting technical solutions to our customers. • Preparing and negotiating final technical contractual documents with the customer. • Independently managing and following the global automation & control sales process, ensuring a proactive approach beyond just providing input.

Qualifications for the role

• You have several (5+) years of experience in industrial automation and control systems, with a strong focus on technical sales support, preferably in the marine industry.
• Degree in automation engineering or a relevant professional background (e.g. ship technician).
• Experience with Bridge Remote Control Systems & Dynamic Positioning Systems is an advantage.
• Strong technical expertise, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, multinational organization with multiple stakeholders-proactive mindset is essential.
• Proficiency in English language.
