We are seeking a qualified heating surveyor to join our busy heating installationteam.
Overview of Role:
This role is a pivotal role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective heating system surveys and installations for our clients. The individual will be the driving force in conducting in-depth assessments of domestic properties, ensuring all heating solutions recommended meet regulatory standards and align with the customer's needs and budget considerations. The role demands a combination of technical expertise, customer service, and attention to detail.

The role demands a combination of technical expertise, customer service, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough heating system surveys, assessing the compatibility and efficiency of existing systems and providing recommendations for upgrades or new installations.
- Engage with customers directly, understanding their requirements, and providing clear, informed advice on heating solutions.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with the latest industry standards, building regulations, and health and safety protocols.
- Prepare precise survey reports, cost estimates, and necessary documentation for the installation teams to execute proposed heating solutions effectively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and installation staff, to ensure service delivery is aligned with company standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest heating technologies, products, and regulatory changes within the industry
- Be aware of procedures and identify any risks associated with arranged surveys, e.g. asbestos / hazardous materials on site, manual handling and working at height legislation etc.
- Provide clear details on potential issues which may affect an arranged installation e.g. scaffold requirements, parking restrictions, etc.
- Quality control and test the operation of the installation and book any remedial works which may be required
- Liaise with Admin Team to ensure correct programming of jobs and ordering of materials
- Ensure Health & Safety & Environmental procedures and standards are adhered to
- Ensuring all certification and documentation is completed accurately
Required Attributes:
- Relevant Industry Qualifications: Possess NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing andHeating or Level 3 Gas Engineering,or equivalent.
- ACS accreditations, including CCN1 and CENWAT or equivalent, are preferable.
- Experience: Demonstrable practical experience in heating system surveys or domestic installation projects.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to deliver accurate and detailed survey reports.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Driving License: Full UK driving license is essential.
