The Nisqually Indian Tribe is developing a Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) facility on Pacific Ave in Olympia, Washington to address the opioid crisis within the Thurston County area. The Nisqually Indian Tribe is passionate about developing a whole person recovery model, keeping all services under one roof so the patient has the best possible chance of recovery. Our goal is to bring healing and wellness to the community, focusing on the entire family by serving tribal and non-tribal patients.
Jobs are projected to start late May - early June 2025.
NATURE OF WORK:
This position has primary responsibility for supporting the Nisqually Tribe's networks, computers and servers under the direction of the Network Administrator. As a member of the Information Technology (IT) department, this position collaborates with other members of the department to provide an information technology environment that meets the needs and goals of the Nisqually Tribe.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Network Administrator with daily
- Assist with interconnecting facilities to include computers, servers, switches and
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair LAN, WAN, and Wireless
- Assist with IP, analog telephony and circuit
- Assist with implementing new technology and resolving technical
- Assist with deploying designed solutions, and ensure implementation of systems including testing, and documentation.
- Work closely with the Network Administrator to ensure the integrity of the internal
- Assist with upgrades and updates to various
- Assist with information security
- Communicate information about network and systems changes, issues and problems.
- Assist with maintaining records and with coordinating efforts with vendors, management and staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years' recent work experience in Network support OR a comparable combination of approved education and/or recent related work
- Must be able to be available in on-call status.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of:
- Knowledge of emerging hardware and software technologies for desktop, network, telecommunications and
- Knowledge of local area networks and wide area networks maintenance principles, best practices and
- Knowledge and understanding of general telecommunications and digital communications infrastructure and
Ability to:
- Ability to troubleshoot a variety of software and hardware issues, communicate, and coordinate the effort for
- Ability to operate multiple software and hardware platforms
