Years of Experience
- Ensure the vessel is crewed, operated and maintained in accordance with regulatory and company standards requirements.
- Ensure vessel's operations are performed in a safe, cost-effective and environmentally sound way through oversight, monitoring and coordination of daily vessel operations.
- Ensure the vessel has standardized documentation for efficient operations for the required destinations.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all personnel and equipment engaged in vessels operations in close coordination with other functions that utilize marine services.
- Coordinate with company departments, contractors and service providers to prepare the marine movements plan to ensure adequate vessels are deployed for the movement of personnel, equipment and materials.
- Liaise with logistics, construction, drilling, offshore operations and other DOTL Departments on a daily basis to ensure that support is provided offshore in an efficient and cost-effective way.
- Plan and control the allocation of marine resources on board in a manner that will ensure all marine activities are achieved in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
- Ensure that daily safety and maintenance checks are carried out and that all marine deck and safety equipment and navigation aid are serviceable, free from defects and fit-for-purpose.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a related subject
- Minimum 10 years' experience in marine offshore services with 5 years in Master capacity and DP Operator.
