Your role and responsibilities

As a Hub Americas Internal Communications Specialist for the Smart Power Division, you will help to develop and execute the Communications strategy for Hub Americas in partnership with the Hub leadership team and the Global Employee & Culture Communications team. Working with multiple stakeholders across the business, the Hub Americas Internal Communication Specialist should support key business objectives and help to drive front line employee engagement across the manufacturing units of the Hub. We are looking for a hands-on communications specialist to join a dynamic, versatile global team, somebody who can dive in and deliver. With good understanding of employee communications for front line workers, we are looking for a strategic thinker, able to partner with all levels of management and multiple stakeholders concurrently. Proactive, result-oriented with strong networking and organizational skills; keen attention to details and shown ability to work on several projects concurrently, as well as to prioritize as necessary. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Team in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for: • Develop and execute the Hub Americas comms strategy and plan with an audience first approach, aligning with the Hub strategy and global employee and culture communications strategy. • With a quality over quantity mindset, develop and author a variety of internal and executive communications including articles, talking points, presentations, announcements, employee stories and videos. • Leverage the existing channels and contemplate new ones to drive innovation in employee communications for front line workers. • Preparing content and strategic communication plans for internal programs and stand out campaigns. • Work cross-functionally across teams in close partnership with the manufacturing unit teams, Human Resources, Operations, local communications and other functions to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery, while championing the inclusion of our frontline employee voice. • Travel frequently to guarantee close collaboration and partnership with stakeholders across the different locations of the Hub.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in English, Communications or related discipline / 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in employee communications; experience in employee communications for front line workers will be considered a plus.
• Native English language skills. Spanish language will be considered a plus.
• Excellent written communication and editing skills / Excellent presentation skills.
• Experience in cross functional communications/ proven collaboration skills and a good team player.
• Experience in coaching leaders in their executive communications will be considered a plus.
• Experience in change management and/or HR communications will be considered a plus.
