This position reports to

Business Line CFO - MV Switchgear

Your role and responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating a strong and well recognized leadership team, with a speak up culture. • Fostering a culture of empowerment, transparency, collaboration, and inclusion where everyone puts our customers at the center. • Safeguarding a strong license to operate on integer behavior, safety, and sustainability. • Guaranteeing equal opportunity and drive a strong adherence to policies. • Coaching newly appointed mid-managers to drive the new culture and take accountability with courage • One-team approach of factory and sales focused on market and customers, winning customers by fulfilling promises (on time delivery, high quality, fast response) • Egyptian market: accelerate growth, ensure focus on competitive offering and position. Manage market specific risks (inflation, USD liquidity and local policy) with a strong risk management approach and scenario planning. • Export markets: focus on developing the assigned export markets by becoming the "partner of choice" for the sales teams in the region. • Supply: P&L management, with optimization of cost, quality, cash, and customer experience. Ensure continuous improvement culture and align capacity with market demands to secure profitability. • Ensuring high level of end-to-end transparency within the factory and export markets. • Ensuring alignment on go-to-market (how we serve specific market segments in the region) and execute segment specific sales plans across business lines. • Securing simple internal business model that is predictable, fair, and easy to apply • Leading the development and regular update of a long-term ambition plan for the local unit.

Qualifications for the role

  • General:
  • Proven experience in leading commercial and operations within a multinational organization, preferably in the electrification sector
  • Strong mindset for integrity and inclusive culture, fostering a speak-up culture.
  • Leader, not a manager - inspiring the team to be ambitious.
  • Customer focus - across several countries and markets
  • Business thinking - is well balanced in between people, finance, markets, technology, and operations.
  • Strong strategic mindset, good listening skills

  • customers, suppliers, or other divisions.
