About the job:
We are seeking a highly experienced VP Enterprise Business Architect with specialized and extensive expertise in Oracle Fusion technologies to lead our organization's strategic initiatives in Oracle strategy, business optimization, business architecture and value creation. This initial focus will be working immediate Oracle specific problems and priorities whilst developing the wider Oracle strategy. This pivotal role will be responsible for guiding the overall enterprise business architecture, setting the direction for Oracle-based solutions, and ensuring that our technology roadmap aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable value. The role "holds the pen" on the Oracle Global Architecture. The company has ambitious growth plans and M&A is a critical element of the journey. The role will be guiding the business through the process as we integrate acquisitions. Longer term the remit will expand across the entire systems architecture including non-Oracle systems. (for example, Salesforce).
You will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the Oracle vision and strategy across the enterprise. Partnering closely with C-level executives, business stakeholders, and delivery teams, you will leverage Oracle's robust capabilities to drive digital transformation, operational excellence, and business value. Your expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies will be crucial in shaping scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Experience in Energy, Consulting, Engineering, or Construction sectors is beneficial but not essential. Candidates from other industries with strong enterprise business architecture expertise (with Oracle Fusion) and a track record of innovation are encouraged to apply.

- Strategic LeadershipOracle Vision & Strategy: Develop, refine, and maintain the enterprise-wide Oracle vision and strategic roadmap, ensuring it aligns with overarching business objectives.
- C-Level Collaboration: Act as the primary authority on Oracle-related decisions, working closely with C-suite executives to ensure Oracle Fusion solutions are tailored to meet operational requirements and strategic goals.
- Executive Engagement: Lead high-level workshops, presentations, and discussions to advocate for the adoption of Oracle architectures and to enhance understanding across business and technical stakeholders.
- Architecture & DesignEnterprise Architecture: Design and maintain comprehensive Oracle-based enterprise architecture blueprints, integrating Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Finance, Project Controls, SCM, HCM, etc.), alongside emerging technologies such as analytics, AI, and intelligent automation.
- Solution Design: Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable Oracle technical architectures and integration flows.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure that architectural designs uphold the highest standards for scalability, security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Process Optimization & Value CreationBusiness Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for business process optimization through Oracle solutions, driving measurable improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Value & KPI Definition: Partner with the CDIO and digital strategy teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create strategies that drive value in areas such as finance, supply chain, human capital management, and project portfolio management (PPM).
- Technology Leverage: Integrate cutting-edge technologies like AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation to enhance Oracle-based operations, fostering innovation and efficiency.
- Knowledgebase Creation: Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledgebase of business capabilities, processes, and information architecture to guide decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Roadmap Development & GovernanceOracle Roadmap: Collaborate with the CDIO and delivery teams to create and manage a clear, actionable roadmap for Oracle technology adoption and integration across the organization.
- Lifecycle Management: Support Oracle solutions throughout their lifecycle, from planning and design to post-go-live support, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with strategic goals.
- Adherence to Standards: Enforce compliance with Oracle's architectural principles and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across the enterprise.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

- Essential Qualifications:Proven Experience: Minimum 10 years of enterprise architecture experience, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies.
- Oracle Expertise: Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, with hands-on experience in core modules such as Finance, SCM, HCM, and Project Portfolio Management.
- Leadership Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus among senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Consulting Background: Experience in a Big 4 or similar consulting environment, with a strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions and transformation.
- Desired Skills & Certifications:TOGAF or Equivalent: Certification in TOGAF or other relevant enterprise architecture frameworks is highly desirable.
- Complementary Technologies: Familiarity with complementary technologies (e.g., CRM, supply chain automation, analytics) and their integration with Oracle.
- Emerging Trends: Knowledge of the latest trends in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and Oracle technologies.
